2009 8th June TT Races Round up What a magic day we all had here on the Isle of Man for the Isle of Man TT Races. John McGuinness smashes the TT out right lap record to take the Dainese Superbike Race which means he moves ahead of the late Mike Hailwood's total of 14 wins and is now only second to the Great Joey Dunlop on the all time list of winners with 15 wins, under the watchful eye of Valentino Rossi eight time MotorGP world Champion and winner of no less than 97 Grand Prix. No longer had Rossi placed the Garland on John McGuinness the winner of the Dainese Superbike Race than he was off on a Circuit of the course signing autographs every step of the way to his bike. Valentino even took time out to go over to a group of spectators who had dressed in all yellow even with yellow wigs and sporting his famous number 46 to pose for a photograph. Valentino was accompanied with fellow Italian also ledgend of 10 TT race wins in the 66-72 era Giacomo Agostini. The crowd were then given a display by Sidecar TT Race 1, when Nick Crowe/Mark Cox on their HM Plant Honda blasted in to an early lead ahead of Dave Molyneux/Dan Sayle 600cc DMR Suzuki / A & J Racing to lead them by less than 4 seconds and John Holden/Andrew Winkle 600cc LCR Suzuki lying third after lap one. Drama on the second lap, both Nick Crowe/Mark Cox and John Holden/Andrew Winkle went missing by Glen Helen leaving Dave Molyneux/Dan Sayle a commanding lead. Dave Molyneux/Dan Sayle went on to extend their lead and to win the first sidecar race of TT 2009 with a fgastest lap of 116.010mph in 19mins 30.83secs with Philip Dongworth/Gary Partridge 600cc Ireson Honda / WAS Auto Centre Ltd second and Simon Neary/Stuart Bond 600cc Dynobike Suzuki / Neary Racing third Followed by an hours practice by the Relentless Supersports and Royal London 360 Superstock riders.
